Moore Performance Horses

2011 APHA Monroe was the first stop on the MPH show circuit this year…while it continued to reflect the economic downturn with fewer entries,the level of competition was still fairly high.Strangely enough,the weather was much better than in the past,making for far more pleasant conditions;and  we actually managed to have dinner at Mi Tiaras more than  once,being joined one night by  Vegas Paint friend Teri Wirthlin and her client.The ‘little’ girls moved up to the 14-18 category this year,its a big shocker no matter how prepared you are!Kirsten Chamberland has taken over the reins on ASexy Sensation from older sis Emilee,who is attending Dalhousie Universiry in Nova Scotia.And the ‘big girls’ held their own in a nice pen of amateurs Both Kerry and Jenn excelled on the Trail and Showmanship courses. The highlight of the weekend was the Hi Point 14 -18 [and the winner  of the laptop]All Reddy Smokin’ and Emmalee Schellenberg.It has been a long haul,and a lot of faith,to reach this goal.So,first one is in the books,on to Albany Paint,then Langley Paint/Quarter…
